Cone 6 oxidation: Green Jasper is a glossy, transparent white glaze that breaks over texture. Contains metallic green and blue crystals. Base color is stable, crystals can create movement.
 
Cone 10 reduction: Base remains. Crystals shift to metallic red. Light application recommended.
 
Wood and soda firing results will vary.

Green Jasper uses SW250 White Opal as the base glaze.
Upon opening, crystals will be concentrated in the bottom of the bottle. Stir/shake thoroughly to incorporate before each use.
Crystals can create movement. Avoid having a heavy concentration of crystals near the bottom of your piece.
When storing a crystal glaze, you may consider storing upside down to make crystal more accessible.
Can be used in oxidation or reduction firings. Results may vary.
The choice of clay body, thickness of glaze application, firing process and temperature will affect the fired results. Always test in your kiln, on your clay body.
