Kids 4-12 years old are welcome to explore the world of clay in our studio.
We ask that kids ages 5 and under are accompanied by their caregivers; this is optional for kids ages 6+.

Kids Handbuilding Class (4-12 y/o) w/ Zoë - 10:00-11:30am (Multiple Days Avail)
Kids ages 5 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
In this 90-minute class, kids will dive into the world of clay through a variety of fun + easy handbuilding techniques.In a warm, encouraging environment, young artists are invited to freely explore their creativity—no pressure, no perfection, just the joy of working with their hands. The focus is on the process of discovery and self-expression, rather than the final product.
Each child will have the opportunity to create 1–3 unique clay pieces, which will be finished with a glaze color of their choice. Whether it’s a wild creature, a funky bowl, or something completely their own, every creation is celebrated!
Registration for this course includes:
- All tools + materials to create up to 3 pieces
- Glaze costs + firing fees for all pieces created
In preparation for this class, please:
- Dress your child in clothes that are ok to get dirty/stained
- Ensure they wear short sleeves or sleeves that can easily tuck back and not get in the way
- Tie back long hair so that it does not get caught on clay
Upon course completion:
- Finished pots will be ready for pick up during Business Hours 3-6 weeks after class
- You will receive an email from the Studio Manager when pots are ready for pick up
- Pots will be held for 4 weeks, then donated due to limited storage space
- Business Hours:
- Thursday: 1pm - 6pm
- Friday to Monday: 10am - 6pm
All parents / guardians of students must sign a Code of Conduct Agreement / Waiver before the start of class.
We require at least 2 students to run a class; refunds will be issued if we must cancel due to low registration.
Registration fees (minus service charges) are 100% refundable if registration is canceled 10 days ahead of class start date.
- For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 5th to receive 100% refund.
50% refund (minus service charges) if canceled 5 days ahead of class start date.
- For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 10th to receive 50% refund.
Non-refundable within 5 days of class, however, registration is transferable once to another person prior to class start date.
- For example, if class starts on the 15th and it's now the 12th and you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email the Studio Manager to coordinate.
