6/12 Drink Pitcher Handbuilding Workshop with Sam - 5:30 to 7:30pm

Get ready for summertime sun tea + refreshing drinks with Sam's Drink Pitcher class! If you want to play with clay but can't commit to a 4-week course, then our 1-time, project based classes are perfect for you.

 

After your make your piece, we will fire + glaze it for you in your choice of studio glaze color.

 

This class is designed for those 18+. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied  by a guardian who must also enroll in the class.

 

In this class, we'll review:

• Slab and coil handbuilding techniques
• Handle making + attachment
• Designing + decorating your unique piece

Registration for this course includes:

• Up to 5lbs of stoneware clay to make a drink pitcher (and cups if time allows)
• Use of community tools + equipment
• All glaze costs + firing fees

 

In preparation for this class, please:

• We will provide aprons, but please wear clothes that you don't mind staining / getting dirty
• Ensure you wear short sleeves or sleeves that can easily tuck back and not get in the way
• Tie back long hair so that it does not get caught on clay or the tools

 

Upon class completion:

• Finished pieces will be available for pick up during Business Hours 4 weeks after class and will be held for 4 weeks
  • You will receive an email from the Studio Manager when pieces are ready for pick up
• Abandoned works will be donated/discarded due to limited storage space. Thanks for understanding!
• Business Hours:
  • Thursday: 1pm - 6pm
  • Friday to Monday: 10am - 6pm

 

All students must sign a Waiver / Code of Conduct Agreement before the start of class. 

We require at least 2 students to run a class; refunds will be issued if we must cancel due to low registration.

 

We cannot offer make up sessions for missed classes.

 

Registration fees (minus service charges) are 100% refundable if registration is canceled 10 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 5th to receive 100% refund.

 

50% refund (minus service charges) if canceled 5 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 10th to receive 50% refund.

 

Non-refundable within 5 days of class, however, registration is transferable once to another person prior to class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th and it's now the 12th and you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email the Studio Manager to coordinate.
