Designed as a multi-purpose mid-range stoneware, DC 3-5 is a good wheel throwing clay that trims to a smooth, almost burnished surface.
 
Excellent for sculpting, slab work, and coiling techniques. DC 3-5 has very good drying characteristics which will reduce warping and cracking problems.
 
Fires to an off-white color in oxidation and a light grey in reduction.
