ABOUT
A pliable clay with smooth grog. Great for sculpture (use a high gloss glaze when making dinnerware). Color comes from manganese and iron.
 
Fires almost black when in oxidation. It is not recommended to fire this clay in reduction. 
 
Do not fire past Cone 5
