4/26 Flower Vase Handbuilding Workshop with Zoë -10am to 12pm

If you want to play with clay but can't commit to a 4-week course, then our 1-time classes are perfect for you! After your make your piece(s), we will finish it for you in your choice of a studio glaze color and will have it ready for Mother's Day.

 

This class is designed for those 18+. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who must also enroll in the class.

 

In this class, we'll review:

• Slab and coil handbuilding techniques
• Designing + decorating your unique piece

Registration for this course includes:

• Fresh stoneware clay to make a medium-to-large vase
• Use of community tools
• All glaze costs + firing fees for all finished pieces

 

In preparation for this class, please:

• Wear clothes that you don't mind staining / getting dirty (aprons will be provided)
• Ensure you wear short sleeves or sleeves that can easily tuck back and not get in the way
• Tie back long hair so that it does not get caught on clay or the tools

 

Finished pieces will be available for pick up during Open Hours starting Thursday, May 7th so that it's ready for Mother's Day.

• We will hold onto your pot for 4 weeks before donating it due to limited storage space.
• Open Hours:
  • Thursday: 1 - 6pm
  • Friday to Monday: 10am - 6pm

 

All students must sign a Waiver / Code of Conduct Agreement before the start of class. 

We require at least 2 students to run a class; refunds will be issued if we must cancel due to low registration.

 

We cannot provide make-up classes for missed sessions.

 

Registration fees (minus service charges) are 100% refundable if registration is canceled 10 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 5th to receive 100% refund.

 

50% refund (minus service charges) if canceled 5 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 10th to receive 50% refund.

 

Non-refundable within 5 days of class, however, registration is transferable once to another person prior to class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th and it's now the 12th and you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email the Studio Manager to coordinate.
