8/10 Nerikomi Tumbler Sets with Hina - 10am to 1pm

Make handbuilt tumblers in groovy patterns made with colored porcelain clay! This class is designed for those 18+ with little or no experience. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who must also enroll in class.

 

In this 3-hour workshop, we'll review:

• Materials + process of coloring clay
• Pattern making
• Tips + tricks to vibrant, clear patterns and shapes
• Slab handbuilding techniques

 

Registration for this course includes:

• Unlimited colored porcelain clay
• Glaze costs + firing fees for all pieces created

 

In preparation for this class, please:

• Bring an apron or wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/staining
• Ensure you wear short sleeves or sleeves that can easily tuck back and not get in the way
• Tie back long hair so that it does not get caught on clay

 

Upon class completion:

• Finished pots will be available during Business Hours 4 weeks after class and will be held for 4 weeks
  • You will receive an email from the Studio Manager letting you know pots are ready for pick up
  • Abandoned pots will be donated or discarded due to limited storage space
• Business Hours:
  • Thursday: 1pm - 6pm
  • Friday to Monday: 10am - 6pm

 

All students must sign a Code of Conduct Agreement before the start of class.

We require at least 2 students to run a class; refunds will be issued if we must cancel due to low registration.

 

Registration fees (minus service charges) are 100% refundable if registration is canceled 10 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 5th to receive 100% refund.

 

50% refund (minus service charges) if canceled 5 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 10th to receive 50% refund.

 

Non-refundable within 5 days of class, however, registration is transferable once to another person prior to class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th and it's now the 12th and you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email the Studio Manager to coordinate.
